for Walt Disney Animation Studios, 30 time is a charm. While some love May 29 animated feature films that came before or 20 who came because, like Beauty and the Beast . I could write an entire article about why it's better than Lion King or Aladdin (close second) or even classics like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs or Cinderella , but I'll save that for later. This article is strictly about the story as old as time.
One of the oldest fairy tales, La Belle et la Bete , is masterfully adapted Disney in this Oscar-winning animation. Long ago, the young Prince selfishly refused to shelter the old beggar woman who is then revealed as a beautiful enchantress. She is damned as a monstrous beast for it is not judging her inner beauty, but her outer appearance. If he did not find a woman to love him in his embodiment of terrifying his 21st birthday, he would be condemned to live the rest of his life as a beast.
Later, Belle, a beautiful young bookworm in his small French village in search of more than life. She was impressed with Gaston, the city "womanizer" who will do anything to get her to marry him regardless of all other, more voluptuous, women pining for him around town. Belle's father, the inventor of silly, moving to the fair, with his latest invention, but it soon gets lost in the storm. He finds his way to a dark castle, and immediately taken as a prisoner in a scary beast. At home, Bella learns that her father is missing and to accompany him to the castle where the Beast asks her to place the old man. He agrees, knowing that, despite a furious temper, among other things, he must find a way for her fall in love with him.
unfolding story follows several unforgettable songs, including one that earned Alan Menken and Howard Ashman (posthumous), Oscar. Angela Lansbury does a great job in that song and Paige O'Hara, voice of Belle, on the other. Although Beauty and the Beast might at first seem like a girly film or children, it is not at all. Not only did the beast sing (to the male way) in "Something There", but the rest of the plot is always a dark sense of looming over even the sweetest moments.
If your children are grown only on the Pixar films, you owe it to them to share the treatment of traditional animation. None of the timeless story of the apparent age, and you know it's magic when Disney starts to return to this style filma.Cijela family is something about love this movie, and it will be on the edge of your seat in suspense whether "'Twas beauty killed the beast. "So I give Beauty and the Beast 9 / 10
